This is our last night in Seoul. We head to Osaka, Japan tomorrow for a holiday, then on to Canada. It was a good year, a challenging year, a learning year. We will return to Korea to teach again, but in a new location. Sokcho is on the east coast of Korea. It is much smaller than Seoul, 90 000 instead of 10 million. It is on the coast and surrounded by mountains. It feels a lot like BC. We are in another BC school, but one with high school.
We have made some good friends here, and will visit Seoul often over the next two years...to visit and to shop. Our students know that I couldn't be long away from Dongdaemun bead market, and Jinhwa tells me that Namdaemun offers even better deals on beads. :)
My plan is to write about my trip as it goes...and share. We shall see where that goes...
