| Arriving at Kansai Airport |
Arrived at the Kansai airport...did the customs thing and found the train to Kyoto. A quick stop at Japan rail and we are the proud owners of Japan rail passes.
Next stop - the "express" train to Kyoto.
The word express is somewhat misleading because the train was not terribly fast...it just didn't stop at every station. We arrived about a half hour late (according to the schedule) and made our way to the hotel.
Welcome! The hotel is the brown building across the street.
